The club's public join page at /m/your-club, what a new member fills in, and how renewal emails go out each season.

What it's for

Each club has a public join page, /m/your-club on your Race Bureau address, with no account and no password. A parent fills it in once for the whole family and gets an email link to confirm. Renewing members get a private link by email that opens already filled in with one Renew button.

Before you start

  • Membership types and the registration form set in Settings. The join page's address is shown there and on Join & renew.
  • For card payment, the club's own Stripe connected under Club payments.

The member's side (the join page)

  1. The page opens as Join (your club) — No account or password. Fill this in once for everyone in your family — we email you a link to confirm.

  2. Under Your details they enter First name, Last name, Email and Phone (optional) — this is the person who will get the emails and pay.
  3. Under Who is joining? Person 1 is ticked This is me (I am 18 or over) by default. For each person they enter First name, Last name, Date of birth and Gender (optional); the memberships their age allows appear once the date of birth is in.
  4. ＋ Add a child, ＋ Add myself or ＋ Add another adult adds a person. The Total for N people updates.
  5. They press Send me the confirmation link. The page says Check your email — the link works for 48 hours and nothing is registered until they open it.
  6. The email's link opens Confirm your membership; they press Confirm membership and see Thank you — you are registered. Family discounts are taken off here.
  7. If a fee is due, the pay page follows: card, bank transfer or later — see Families.

Your side (Join & renew)

  1. Open Members › Join & renew. It opens as Renewals · Season 2026/27 with RENEWED, PENDING PAYMENT, NOT YET RENEWED and SEASON STARTS (and since when renewals are open).

  2. The table Not yet renewed lists each member or family, their email and LAST SENT.
  3. Press ✉ Send renewal emails. Each email carries a private link that opens a page already filled in — who is renewing, their membership (moved to the right one if they aged out), last season's answers — and one Renew button. Sending twice in one day sends once.
  4. Reminders go out by themselves 30 and 7 days before the season starts (change the days in Settings).
  5. Share the join address shown at the bottom, New members join at /m/…, on your website or in a message.

What success looks like

A new member appears on the Roster as Pending the moment they confirm, and as Active once their fee is paid. Renewed members move from Not yet renewed to RENEWED.

If something goes wrong

  • A member never got the confirmation email: it goes to the address typed under Your details; they can fill the form in again with the right one.
  • A member has no email address: they are listed under Not yet renewed with none — add one on their member page.
  • The join page shows No membership is open for this age — contact the club: no membership type in Settings covers that age.
