Entries

Getting competitors in: by email, from the FIS list, from a file or through a public entry form.

Entries is where the field is built and checked. Manage Competitors is the standard screen; the other pages here branch off it. The chain that decides who is drawn is Who is racing — the roll call from entry to draw.

  1. Who is racing — the roll call from entry to drawThe one chain that decides who is drawn: the list goes to the coaches, the coaches claim and answer, the organiser fills the gaps, the green tick is final.
  2. EntriesWho is racing: how competitors get onto a race, what the green tick means, and what every door in the Entries menu does.
  3. Entries by email and the InboxYour club's entries address, what a coach sends to it, and the Inbox where every form lands before it reaches a race.
  4. Public entry formsYour club's entry page at /e/{club}: the FIS entry form and your own club form, no sign-in, confirmed by email, landing on the race.
  5. Upload entry formRead the FIS entry forms coaches sent you — PDF or Word, scanned or not — and add their athletes, grouped by form.
  6. Import from FIS listSearch the loaded FIS points list by code or name and add athletes to the Active race, one after another.
  7. Import from fileBring in an entry sheet (.xlsx or .csv) or pasted rows, matching each column to a competitor field.
  8. Copy from another raceBring a field into the race you are in from another race — this event's other day or another event of the club — with or without their bibs.
  9. Add competitorAdd one competitor by hand; a FIS code is cross-checked against the loaded list as you add.
  10. Manage CompetitorsThe field for a race: every competitor, their checks and their status, with the green tick that decides who is drawn.
  11. Columns & FiltersThe one panel every list and sheet uses: which columns show, in what order and width, which rows show, and whose setup the race follows.
  12. Competitor fieldsWhich competitor fields exist on this event and what they are called; the columns each person sees are set with Columns & Filters.
  13. CategoriesYour account's category scheme (U14, U16, Masters…) by gender and birth year, applied to the event's Category field when you say so.
  14. Modify competitorThe selected competitor's full dialog: details, points, the races they run on this event, paid, their coach, and withdraw or delete.
  15. Update FIS pointsRefresh every competitor's points on the Active race from the loaded FIS list, with the other gender and a FIS Biographies check as options.
  16. Check quotaNation entries against the FIS quota for the picked race, with the caps editable to record an approved override.
  17. Check free entriesWho gets a free entry: write the rules (top N, host, nation codes), apply, and the matching competitors are flagged FREE and highlighted.
  18. Clear CHECK flagsClear the CHECK an import or a form left on competitors, once you have looked; their race status goes back to OK.
  19. Refresh event from FISRead the live FIS calendar for each codex on the event and move a race day to match when FIS has moved it.
  20. Notify coaches and lock the listThe bar at the foot of Manage Competitors: publish a race day's list to the coaches, tell them, and lock it so their view is final.
  21. Coach viewSee the published list exactly as a coach sees it in Race Relay, operating under your own name.
  22. Email documents to…The addresses every released document is emailed to: add them once per event, and each release goes out by itself.
  23. Competitor ListThe printed competitor list: your own columns and filter, the race keeps its copy, one press to the PDF.
  24. Export listThe field as a file: the printed Competitor List is the sheet; the file export follows the same Entries setup.
  25. FIS points listLoad the FIS points list the whole Race Bureau works from, and pick which of the two current lists is active.
  26. ANC points listThe Australia New Zealand Cup standings and the World Cup Start List: load them from FIS, put the numbers on the competitors and seat the special seeds.
  27. Delete all competitorsEmpty one race day's field — men, women or everyone — after typing DELETE to confirm. Not reversible.
