Public entry forms
Your club's entry page at /e/{club}: the FIS entry form and your own club form, no sign-in, confirmed by email, landing on the race.
On this page
What it's for
Nobody signs in to enter. Your club has one entry page with two forms behind it:
- FIS entry form — the official FIS Entry Form, filled in on screen, for every race carrying a FIS codex.
- Club entry form — your own form, built in Settings, for club races (and any FIS race you choose to offer on it).
The person fills the form, confirms by email, and the athletes land on the race in Manage Competitors. The links, the embed snippet and the form builder live under Settings › Entries.
Before you start
- A race open for entries (each event shows Entries close with its date and time on the public page).
- Settings › Entries › Entry links open.
Steps
- Under YOUR ENTRY LINKS copy the Entry address (
/e/{club}), the FIS entry form (/e/{club}/fis) or the Club entry form (/e/{club}/club). Preview opens each one.The three links, the readable address and the website snippet - Give the link a readable name under Readable address and press Save (or Use alpine-demo-club to take the club's own name). Until then the link uses the club's system name.
- To put entries on your own website, copy the snippet under PUT ENTRIES ON YOUR WEBSITE. One race only: point it at
/e/{club}/race/<race id>, or add/fisor/clubfor one form. - A race with a FIS codex takes entries through the FIS form; tick it under FIS RACES ON THE CLUB FORM to offer it on the club form as well.
- In FIS Calendar Manager set Website = your FIS entry link and Entries Email = your entries address, so both roads reach you.
- Press Edit form › to shape the club form (Entry form builder): add, order and require fields (athlete name, year of birth, gender, club, races, parent name, email, phone, consent), set the thank-you message under Confirmation & emails, and press Save entry form.
What the person sees
- The entry page: the club's name, Enter online — no account needed. You confirm by email, then your athletes are on the list, each open event with its races and closing time, and the form buttons.
- The FIS form: the competition and dates filled from the event; Responsible for entry with the email the confirmation goes to; Entering as (national federation, club, team manager / coach); category and gender; Races entered (codex) ticks; the COMPETITORS table where typing a FIS code fills surname, first name, year and points from the current list (Paste FIS codes for a team); page 2 for officials and signature; Submit the entry form.
- After submitting: We sent the confirmation link to …. Nothing is entered until it is clicked — it works for 48 hours. Once clicked, the athletes are on the race.
What success looks like
The entries appear on Manage Competitors with their form on file; a coach-added athlete whose form arrives this way turns green by itself.
If something goes wrong
- The club form says No races are open for entries: no club race is in its entry window, and no FIS race is ticked for the club form.
- The person's link expired: it works for 48 hours; they fill the form again.
- The confirmation lands on That competition is closed or None of the races on this form are still on the programme: the window closed or the races changed between submit and confirm. Contact the race office is the next step for them; add the athlete by hand if it is too late.
