Check free entries
Who gets a free entry: write the rules (top N, host, nation codes), apply, and the matching competitors are flagged FREE and highlighted.
What it's for
Some series give the best-ranked or the host nation's athletes a free entry. Write that rule once; the dialog flags the competitors who qualify with 🆓 FREE and highlights them on the list, so the fee is not charged to them.
Before you start
- The rule in words: the best N by FIS points, the host nation, or named nation codes (NZL, AUS).
Steps
- Open Entries › Check free entries. The Free entries — rules dialog opens.
Rules in the box; Apply flags the matching rows - Edit or add rules in the box. Recognised: top N (best N by FIS points), host, and nation codes.
- Press Apply. The matching competitors are flagged 🆓 FREE and highlighted on Manage Competitors.
- Clear highlight takes the highlight off again. Press Close.
What success looks like
The free-entry rows are highlighted and carry 🆓 FREE on Manage Competitors.
If something goes wrong
- Nobody was flagged: a rule word is not one the dialog recognises, or the points columns are empty. Run Update FIS points first.
