What it's for

Add athletes straight off the FIS points list: their code, names, gender, nation, year and points come with them, and their FIS status is ACTIVE from the start. The box stays open so you can keep adding.

Before you start

  • The FIS points list loaded (FIS points list).
  • The Active race set to the race (and gender) you are adding to.
  • The list not locked for the day.

Steps

  1. Open Entries › Import from FIS list. The Import from the FIS points list dialog opens and loads the list (Loading the list — 4000 of 9825); you can search while it fills.
Search by code or name; + Add on the row
The Import from the FIS points list dialog
  2. Type in Last Name, First Name, Code or Nation to narrow the table.
  3. Press + Add on the athlete's row, or double-click the row. The row turns to ✓ Added; an athlete already on the race says In this race.
  4. Keep adding. Press Done when the field is in.

What success looks like

Each athlete is on Manage Competitors with source FIS list, ACTIVE, with their points filled in from the list.

If something goes wrong

  • The athlete is not in the table: they are not on the loaded list, or the list is old. Load the current one under FIS points list, or add them by hand with Add competitor.
  • You added to the wrong race: the dialog names the race it adds to; change the Active race with Change in the bar at the top and add again, then withdraw the wrong row.
