What it's for

The club's own entry form, the one behind the Club entry form link. It ships with ten fields on one page: an ATHLETE section (name, year of birth, gender, club or school, club member number, the race picker) and a PARENT OR GUARDIAN section (name, email, phone, consent). Each field is Always asked, Required or Optional. The Live preview on the right redraws as you change things, on Desktop or Phone.

Steps

  1. Open Settings › Entries › Entry form builder. It opens on Fields.
Fields on the left, the live preview on the right
    Entry form builder
  2. Press + Add field to add one. On a row, ↑ and ↓ move it, ⧉ duplicates it, ▾ opens its settings (label, required, width, logic).
  3. Design, Settings and Confirmation & emails are the other tabs: the look of the form, its behaviour, and the thank-you message and emails.
  4. Press Save entry form. Reset to defaults puts the shipped form back.
  5. The card at the foot, External ID check against your club points list, says whether a typed member number is checked and filled in from a loaded list; Club points lists › opens that page.

What success looks like

The Club entry form link shows the fields you saved, and an entry made through it lands on Manage Competitors with the answers in the entry form column.

If something goes wrong

  • The preview reads No race is open for entries right now: the races open on the day are listed on the real form; the preview has none to show.
