Club payments
The club's own Stripe, its entry fees and GST number, bank transfers, payment terms and Xero. Race Bureau never holds the money.
What it's for
Everything about the club taking money, on one page. STRIPE is the club's own Stripe account for card payments. ENTRY FEES is the default fee, the currency, the GST number and what happens to an unpaid athlete. BANK TRANSFERS is the account the pay page shows with the payer's RB- reference. PAYMENT TERMS prints on both entry forms and the receipt. XERO connects the club's own Xero. Entry money goes straight to the club; Race Bureau never holds it.
Steps
- Open Settings › Money › Club payments.
Stripe, Entry fees, Bank transfers, Payment terms, Xero - STRIPE: press Connect Stripe and follow Connect Stripe. While card payments are off for the club the card reads Card payments off and entries are paid later or at the desk.
- ENTRY FEES: pick the Fee structure, tick Card under Payment methods once Stripe is ready (Later / cash at the desk is always allowed), set the currency and the Default entry fee per race, type the GST number (receipts print as tax receipts when one is stated), choose Unpaid athletes on the list (Show with a red UNPAID flag or Pull until paid), and press Save entry fees.
- BANK TRANSFERS: type the Account name and Account number, switch Pay later / at the desk on if the pay page should offer it, and press Save bank details. The badge turns On.
- PAYMENT TERMS: one or two sentences, then Save payment terms.
- XERO: see Xero.
What success looks like
The pay page offers the ways to pay you set, a card entry pays into the club's Stripe, and the receipt shows GST.
If something goes wrong
- Card is greyed under Payment methods: card payments are not on for the club, or the club's Stripe cannot take charges yet.
- The Stripe card reads Stripe is not configured on this server: nothing to do on your side; tell Race Bureau support.
