Forerunner bibs
The bib range this event's forerunners wear: A wears the first bib, B the next, up to 26.
What it's for
A forerunner is timed like anyone but is never on a start list or in the results. In timing they read 901-A, 902-B and so on, with the name from the race header when there is one. This page sets the range for the event you have open: Forerunner A wears the first bib, B the next, at most 26 (A to Z). Start lists, results, the boards and every timer's desk follow it.
Before you start
- An event open. Without one the page reads Open an event first — the range belongs to the event.
Steps
- Open Settings › Race day › Forerunner bibs.
From, To, and the line that shows what the range gives - Type From and To. The line underneath shows the result, for example 901-A · 902-B · … · 909-I (9 forerunners), or says why the range is not allowed.
- Press Save.
What success looks like
The Timing Desk and the race header name the forerunners with the bibs you set.
If something goes wrong
- The line reads Pick a range of 1 to 26 bibs, From no higher than To: fix the numbers; Save stays off until they pass.
