What it's for

Header info is the block printed at the top of a race's start lists and results: the COMPETITION JURY, the TRACK CHARACTERISTICS (homologation, course, gates, start time), the WEATHER, the COURSESETTER and the FORERUNNERS. The jury applies to both runs; the track, weather, setter and forerunners are saved per run.

The Technical Delegate is filled in from the event. The Run sheet reads the course setters from here.

Before you start

  • The race picked under ACTIVE RACE.
  • The jury names, the homologation number and the setter for each run.

Steps

  1. Open Set up › Header info.
Jury above; track, weather, setter and forerunners per run
    Header info
  2. Under COMPETITION JURY, type each official's LAST NAME and pick from the list, or type the name in full. Untick SHOW on a row to keep it off the sheet. The line N of 10 on sheet counts the rows that print.
  3. Press Run 1 or Run 2 to choose which run the lower sections save for.
  4. Under TRACK CHARACTERISTICS, pick the HOMOLOGATION from the FIS library for the venue's nation, then check COURSE, START, FINISH, DROP, LENGTH, GATES, DIRECTIONS and STARTING TIME.
  5. Fill in WEATHER after the race: CONDITIONS, SNOW, AIR TEMP.
  6. Under COURSESETTER and FORERUNNERS, type the last name and pick, or type the name. Forerunners are A to E.
  7. Press ⧉ Copy coursesetter & forerunners into Run 2 when Run 2 uses the same people. It overwrites anything already entered for Run 2.
  8. Press 💾 Save Header (top) or Save race information (bottom). ⧉ Copy to other races pushes the header to the event's other races.

What success looks like

A printed start list for the race shows the jury rows you ticked, the homologation and course line, and the setter and forerunners for the run you printed.

If something goes wrong

  • The setter is missing from the Run sheet's programme: it is read from Run 1 and Run 2 here. Save the header, then reopen the Run sheet.
  • The TD row is empty: the TD is filled in once their invitation is accepted (see Invite TD).
