5 · Bibs & start lists
Draw the start order, hand out the bibs, print the Run 1 start list and release it.
What it's for
Bibs & start lists is step 4: the draw gives every green-ticked competitor a start position, Assign Bibs gives them numbers, and Start lists prints and releases the Run 1 sheet.
Before you start
- The field ticked green in chapter 4. The draw lists nobody else; an unticked field shows "No confirmed … entries yet".
- The active race picked.
Steps
- Open Bibs & start lists. It opens on Draw — start order & bibs with the ticked field below the draw bar.
- Pick a Draw rule / filter. No grouping — the whole field as one draws everyone together; the other rules follow the FIS and ANC Cup seeding (read them under Draw rules). Set First group, Second group and Start at bib if the rule uses them.
Rule, groups, start bib, then Draw - Press 🎲 Draw. The Pos column fills; the foot reads "start order drawn". The button becomes 🎲 Re-draw.
- Press 🎫 Assign Bibs. The Bib column fills from Start at bib; the foot reads "bibs assigned".
Position and bib on every row - Press 🔒 Lock bibs once the bibs are out. It is a safety catch against an accidental re-draw; it never blocks a start list update.
- Open Start lists (under Print / PDF). The sheet shows Run 1 in the race's own list format. Use Columns & Filters to change columns, Sheet title and Box the top group; the race keeps its own copy of the format.
- Press 🖨 Print PDF for the paper copies.
- Press 📣 Release now to publish the Run 1 start list to the coaches and the public pages.
Print PDF, then Release now
What success looks like
The draw screen's foot reads "8 in the list · start order drawn · bibs assigned" (with your number), the start list shows a bib and order on every line, and the sheet is released.
If something goes wrong
- The draw shows "No confirmed … entries yet": nobody is green-ticked, or the ticks did not save because the coaches' list is locked (chapter 4, step 8).
- Wrong rule drawn: press 🗑 Delete Bibs, change the rule, 🎲 Re-draw, 🎫 Assign Bibs.
