What it's for

Entries is step 3, and it opens on Manage Competitors: one row per competitor for the active race, whatever way they came in. Three doors bring entries in; the bar at the foot publishes the list to the coaches.

Entries in three ways

Before you start

  • The active race picked (chapter 2, step 4).
  • Entry forms, or the FIS codes of the racers, or the entry link already on your website.

Steps

  1. Open Entries. Manage Competitors shows the counters racing, CHECK and withdrawn at the top right, and Columns & Filters, 🖥 Display and Reset on the left.

  2. Entries by email. Press ⚙ Settings › Entries by email and copy Your entries address. Forms sent there are read automatically and land in Inbox (rail foot) with the athletes parsed; you decide which race each one enters.
  3. Import from FIS list. Press Import from FIS list. Type a name or code in Search…, press + Add on each racer (the box stays open), then close it. FIS status and points fill in from the list.

  4. Public entry link. Press ⚙ Settings › Entry links. Copy the Entry address (or the FIS entry form / Club entry form address) and put it on your website; Copy snippet gives an iframe. People enter without signing in, confirm by email, and the entry lands in this list.
  5. For a late one-off, press Add competitor: FIS code, Last name, First name, Gender (required), Year, Nation, then ✓ OK. Its Source column says Manual.
  6. A code the loaded FIS list does not know shows CHECK under FIS Status; a form or import can also leave CHECK under Race Status. Ticking a row (step 8) sets its race status to OK; Clear CHECK flags › Clear N flags does them all at once.
  7. Press Columns & Filters to choose and order the columns you see and to filter the list. ✕ Hide folds the panel away.
  8. Press ✓ Tick all (or tick rows one by one). Only green-ticked competitors count for the draw and the run 1 lists.
  9. On the bar at the foot pick Men, Women or M + W, then press Publish list to coaches and confirm. The bar turns to Published · locked: the coaches are told in Race Relay and by email, and the list is read-only. 🔓 Unlock the list reopens it; 📣 Notify coaches tells them again.

What success looks like

Every expected racer is on the list with a green tick, the CHECK counter is 0, and the foot bar reads Published · locked with the right numbers of men and women.

If something goes wrong

  • Ticks will not save: the list is locked. Press 🔓 Unlock the list, tick, then lock again.
  • A row still shows CHECK under FIS Status after the flags are cleared: the code is not on the loaded points list. Check the code, or leave it for a club racer with no FIS code.
