Release results
One press puts a sheet on the live surfaces, the public pages, the phones and the email list; release again replaces it, withdraw takes it back.
What it's for
Releasing a results sheet makes it public: it goes to the live surfaces and the public pages, into the Race Relay groups as a document, and to every address under Email documents to…. The bar has one release button, 📣 Release now, and after a release 📣 Release again and 🗑 Withdraw. It opens no protest clock: the ICR's 15-minute protest window (FIS ICR Book IV, Alpine, art. 643, May 2025) is set per document, from the phone, when a group admin posts an official document and picks ⏱ 15-min protest window — see Release and protest windows.
Before you start
- The sheet checked and titled (Provisional Results or Official Results) on Results.
Steps
- On Results & publish › Results, pick the sheet.
Print PDF · Release now · after a release: Release again · Withdraw - Press 📣 Release now. It turns to Really? — press it again. A release goes public, so it always asks twice.
- Read the bar: ✓ Released with the time and → ROC + app.
- To replace a sheet that went out wrong, fix the race and press 📣 Release again; the new sheet replaces the released one everywhere.
- To take a sheet back, press 🗑 Withdraw, then again. Every copy goes — every group, the organiser's profile and the public menu. Release again once the correct version is ready.
A protest lodged on the phone against a document with a window shows in red on the bar with a Resolve door (two presses); only the timer or an organiser admin resolves it.
What success looks like
The sheet appears on the Public live page and the phone's documents within seconds, the bar reads ✓ Released with the time, and the email arrives at the addresses under Email documents to….
If something goes wrong
- The button is grey, Nothing to release yet: the race has no results frame. Time the race or import the run first.
- You released Provisional and want Official: press Official Results, then 📣 Release again. Set up the official columns first with Use these columns for Official results too if they should differ.
- Nothing is emailed: the list under Email documents to… is empty.
