What it's for

The Docs tab holds every document shared to the groups you are in: start lists, results, DQ lists, the run sheet, day records and notices. Released documents also post into the event's group as cards.

Docs, filtered to the followed race
The Docs tab

Steps

  1. Tap Docs. The chips at the top scope the list: the followed race, or All races. 🔍 searches titles.
  2. Documents are grouped under Startlists, Results, DQ Lists and Other documents. Each row names the race, the day, the group it was posted to, who posted it and when.
  3. Tap a document to open it; pinch to zoom.
  4. Hold a document for more: 📄 Open, ↗ Share to another group…, 🟢 Forward to WhatsApp, 📲 Share to WhatsApp / outside the app… (sends the file itself), and for an admin 🗑 Delete for everyone.

Who gets what

  • A released start list or result goes to the event's group and to the groups the organiser ticked under Document Publish.
  • A DQ list goes to officials and coaches only (the ROC/Jury and Coaches groups), whatever else is ticked.
  • Spectators never receive documents; the spectator app has no Docs tab.

Protests

A document carries a protest window only when the admin who posted it from the phone picked ⏱ 15-min protest window (a start list, a DQ list or official results posted as an official document; a sheet released from the desk has none). While it runs, the document shows PROVISIONAL with a countdown, and a chip sits top right on every screen; tap it to open the document.

  1. Open the DQ list and tap Lodge protest.
  2. Type the reason and tap Lodge protest. The jury sees it with your name. The document shows ⚠ PROTEST LODGED and stays pinned.
  3. The jury resolves it: an admin opens the document and taps ✅ Resolve — make it official.

A document with no protest, or whose window closed clean, becomes OFFICIAL. Sheets released from the desk post with no window.

What success looks like

The released list is under Startlists with the race's own label, and the same list appeared as a card in the event's chat.

If something goes wrong

  • No documents match … for <race> — tap All races.
  • Couldn't open "…" — pull to refresh; if it keeps failing tell the organiser.
  • Your phone isn't a ROC admin on this race, so it can't delete documents — ask the organiser for the admin tick on your group.
