Timer
The timer on the phone: publish the coaches' list, and run the event's group as its chat admin.
What it's for
An invited timer is admin of that event's Race Relay group, and of that group only; it never makes them a club admin. From the phone they publish the day's list to the coaches and keep the group in order.
Before you start
- The club invited you as timer, and this phone holds your Race Bureau account (👤 › Your profile › Race Bureau, sign in, then come back to the app).
Steps
- Tap 👤. Under Your profile tap 📣 Publish to coaches (a club admin sees it as Coaches' list under ⚙︎).
Choose the race day and the list, then one button - Publish the day, lock it, and notify the coaches (see Publish to coaches).
- Open the event's group. As its admin you can 📌 Pin message (hold a message), ▦ Invite QR (⋯ in the chat), 👥 Manage group · invite (long-press the group on Chats), and post a file as an official document.
- Released start lists and results you make on the desk land in the group as document cards by themselves.
What success looks like
The day shows PUBLISHED · LOCKED, the coaches have the ping, and the group's chat carries the released start list as a card.
If something goes wrong
- No timer profile on this phone — sign in with your Race Bureau account under Your profile, then come back.
- No events for <club> that you time — switch club at the top of Chats; the screen shows only the club you are switched to.
