Timing report and penalty check

Per race, the timing report and the FIS results file show only once FIS accepted them; the saved penalty is checked against FIS's and FIS wins.

What it's for

The TD has nothing to do with sending to FIS. The organiser produces the timing report and the FIS results file and sends them; the TD's Official documents card for the race shows each file only once FIS has confirmed it, as an after-race card with the date: Timing report valid, Accepted by FIS. Until then the rows read Not produced yet (red) or Waiting for FIS (neutral), and there is nothing to open.

The Penalty calculation row is Race Bureau's own saved calculation, cross-checked with the penalty FIS accepted. Same value: Penalty valid. Different: FIS's value is the race's penalty, shown as Penalty X (FIS) with FIS X · ours Y beside it in amber. Before FIS's value is known the row reads Waiting for FIS; not calculated reads Not calculated yet.

Steps

  1. Open Official documents from the side menu and find the race's card.
Penalty valid, Accepted by FIS, Timing report valid
    A race card after acceptance
  2. On Timing report, press View to read it on screen, PDF for the printed form, or Download for the file.
  3. On FIS results file, press View to read the XML as lines, or Download.
  4. On Penalty calculation, press View to open the saved penalty sheet. Read the note beside it: Penalty valid, or the FIS value with ours beside it.

What success looks like

The race card reads Penalty valid, Accepted by FIS and Timing report valid, each with its accepted date, and the TD Report can state the timing-report check as done.

If something goes wrong

  • Accepted by FIS · no copy kept: the acceptance stands, but no file was kept to open.
  • The penalty row shows FIS's value and ours differ: FIS's value is the race's penalty. Raise the difference with the organiser; nothing on the TD side changes a penalty.
